2022 Syrah Malbec

This Syrah Malbec starts the pallet with rich notes of Plum, Cherry and acai berries. The mid pallet develops complicated aromas of tobacco, fig, prunes, vanilla and coffee. The Syrah adds a strong and structured Tannin while the Malbec brings out the round Mid Pallet
The Syrah comes from our Estate Lambert Block overlooking Manson. These vines are cordon pruned and produce high quality Syrah year after year. The Syrah is Hand picked and sorted into warm fermentors. The Juice fermented for 2 weeks with pump overs 3 times daily to extract tannin and color from the skins. The Syrah was aged in neutral American oak.
The Malbec was processed in a similar fashion but was aged in old french oak.
