A lovely and drinkable wine with Plum, Cherry, Maple and Vanilla, this wine is a lighter bodied Syrah with well integrated and velvety smooth tannins. This wine has lovely structure and is incredibly easy drinking. The acidity is moderate and brings a long and pleasant finish on the pallet.
This Syrah is hand picked and hand sorted in half ton picking crates. The fruit was hand sorted and only the best fruit was selected to showcase the 2023 vintage of Syrah. The fermentation was completed in the presence of both new french and american oak to add tannin early on in the winemaking process to stabilize the deep ruby color. Once this wine was finished fermenting it was racked into old neutral french and american oak Barrels to develop complexity for 24 months.
